Biography
Sanghoo Park trained and received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Republic of Korea, in 2016. He is currently an assistant professor of KAIST. For the last few years, he has actively devoted to the research on plasma diagnostics (e.g., electron characterization based on neutral bremsstrahlung and laser Thomson scattering), plasma modeling (e.g., computational analysis of electrohydrodynamics or electric wind in plasmas), and plasma chemistry (e.g., chemical kinetics in surface discharges). These topics have become increasingly of importance as a scientific and industrial topic, and thus, his presentation, which contains the introductory overview and in-depth research results of plasma characterization will be interest and informative in the plasma community. He has currently first-authored 16 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals including Nature and Nature Communications.
